So.... when will the next meetup be? And more importantly, will it be indoors? I have my reasons for preferring an indoor meetup

Currently getting something going. I'm usually at Nintendo World most Fridays, but I want to set up a meeting for July.

As much as I like Nintendo World I do prefer a change of scenery once in a while. I also prefer weekday over weekend but I understand why weekends are chosen more often.

I suggest a place right across the Hudson in NJ. Being that the Street Pass crew is composed of people from both sides of the river, including the founder and myself of course, why not find some parks, or places we can meet up at and have a good time. Besides, it's just as smelly on both sides! =)
Just a suggestion!!

I've been planning on coming in costume (Jordan wants me to also) I NEED air conditioning and no direct sunlight for what I am planning to wear The next challenge will be playing my 3DS in the costume (annoying gloves) And no, it isn't my spandex zero suit....

As always, unless it's top super secret because of NDAs or an awesome surprise I let people know about things as I know them so here it goes:
--July--
Sadly this will be all outdoor locations in Manhattan unless the second one goes very crappy in terms of venue.
The first one I want to do is a nice Coney Island Beach meet-up. We will make sandcastles, go swimming, play physical games as well as Nintendo 3DS games. As it starts to get dark, we duck into one of the local arcades and overall, have a small time fun.
I am most likely going to do it on the 17th unless it rains or something. It will be a short notice date because I need to know what the weather is going to be before I host it. Also, can't to the 7th weekend because I get a tooth pulled and can't do the 16th because my best friend is coming back to my hometown in like forever because his younger sister is having a baby shower. (Hence why I'm unlikely to enter in the SOS Tournament but I'll promote the fuck out of it.)
Also, I need to recoup my funds since June was...insane.
Capcom event looks to be the 30th but I need to work out more details with them as well as secure a location. I want a location that get's a lot of foot traffic. Aiming for Times Square but it's hard. Might be in a Brooklyn(?) Play 'N Trade if all else fails.
--August--
S.O.S. Gamers is aiming to have a Charity BBQ where they handle the venue/food and I handle the events and promotion. Exact day unknown since S.O.S. Gamers decides on that.
--September--
Planing for a StreetPass NYC VS StreetPass London event where were both groups plan to meet around the same time and webcam each other on a huge screen so we can play online games with each other and talk/ask questions.
No idea what Nintendo World Store is doing for StarFox 64 3D but thinking about having our own unofficial official StarFox 64 3D launch party at the
Also thinking of doing a Next Level Games event.
--October--
NY Comic Con. Lots of headaches, inflated egos, cosplay, networking and drinking.
Then I plan on having us be an actual sector at the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade that I've attended for years. =D
--August/September/November--
On off days in these months, we need suggestions for other places to hang. We already have a few, a ton in Manhattan and a few in Boroklyn/Bronx. We need more. Where would you like to be? TELL US!
--December--
Rockefeller Center near the Ice Skating Rink with FREE Hot Coco while supplies last for Nintendo 3DS owners. Possible Secret Santa Drive? Charity Drive?

Eeeeeeeeeee <3 Well, I already said the 17th would be fun XD And considering we're celebrating all the birthdays and things on the 16th (The 15th is my grandpa's on my dad's side birthday and my grandparents' on my mom's side anniversary, the 17th is my Aunt's birthday, but she already gave me infinite permission to do whatever I need as long as I never end up doing something that would cause another celebration on her birthday, annnnnnnd my birthday is on the 18th... and then we have my cousin on the 30th but still XD). My boyfriend is looking forward to the possible Capcom event. I'm personally having a nervous break-down over it. I told him I'd have to go blindfolded and with ear plugs *. He said that's okay and he'll give me a walking stick </3 But yes, all the events really do sound like a lot of fun I'll probably continue trying to think of more places here in the Bronx, or even bug my mom about it a bit too since she knows a lot of places as well. * I have a zombie phobia XD I actually start to gag/get nauseated and then proceed to freak out. This is what happens when you subject a little girl at just 8 years old to Resident Evil because you need her to read the guide book to you. I couldn't go anywhere (and I mean -anywhere) by myself for over 3 months. *STILL TRAUMATIZED* My cousin will feel my wrath for all eternity.

I'm sorry, but what is this Capcom event? Promotion event with Capcom where we go out in public with our Nintendo 3DS and copy of Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. You all break up into groups and complete these very hard tasks over local multiplayer and who ever group wins will be featured on Capcom Unity. Oh and you may win a prize too. I'm trying to get my friends from the NY/NJ Zombie Walk to do make up for the event, so everyone with a Nintendo 3DS will be a zombie but we will see.
